Strawberry Peach Pom Smoothie

I’m not exaggerating when I say this smoothie tastes like summer in a glass. Juicy strawberries, sweet peaches, and frozen bananas, fresh squeezed orange juice, and a little POM just for fun— yeah, you don’t get much more summer-y than that!

Like everyone else and their mother, I crave these natural sweets all. summer. long. I can’t even tell you the amount of peaches and strawberries I’ve consumed in the past 2 months. They just taste so right this time of year. Might as well get my fill while the fruit is fresh (and the prices are low)!

I’m definitely into green smoothies, especially this Creamy Superfood Berry Smoothie, but sometimes I just want a REAL fruit smoothie. Just fruit, juice, and milk. People still make smoothies like that?

Yeah. I do.

I go through phases of smoothie-ing in my house. I always keep a bag (or two) of frozen bananas in my freezer (for nice-cream, duhh), but it’s rare that I have other frozen fruit in there unless I plan for it to be there. Aka we eat fresh fruit wayyyy too fast to even think about freezing it 😉

My smoothie cycle typically goes like this— I get a monster smoothie craving. I buy a whole bunch of strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, etc to freeze. I smoothie every day for a week because I forgot how much I love smoothies and am totally addicted again. I run out of frozen fruit.

Strawberry Peach Pom Smoothie

Serves 2
Prep time 5 minutes
Dietary Gluten Free, Vegan
Meal type Beverage


  • 1 banana, sliced and frozen
  • 5 strawberries, sliced and frozen
  • 1 peach, sliced and frozen
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate juice
  • squeeze of half an orange
  • 1/2-3/4 cup milk (I used unsweetened soy)


Step 1
Dump all the ingredients into a blender and puree until smooth. Add in as much or as little milk as you like for your preferred consistency! I garnished my smoothies with an orange slice--- purely for prettiness 🙂

  1. Yum, this smoothie looks awesome and has some of my favorite fruits! And you’re right, sometimes a smoothie bug will just hit you and you start craving all those juicy summer fruits in a cup! I like your addition of pomegranate juice too! 🙂
