{remember these old favorites?!?}
Happy Friday!! Since it’s officially November… aka well into holiday season… I’ve already been drafting my list of baking experiments for the next month and my list is growing ridiculously long. Please tell me I’m not the only one doing this already. A large majority of my ideas involve veganizing and healthifying a bunch of my family’s classic cookie and dessert recipes buuuutttt I’m honestly a little nervous for the results. Part of me has such a connection to those classic butter-filled, sugar-laden recipes and feels a little strange tweaking what is already SO GOOD (but so NOT GOOD for you). But the other half of me just naturally loves lightening up my favorite guilty pleasures—- so here goes nothin’ I guess! I’ll keep you posted via Instagram, obvs.
I’ve loaded this edition of Friday Favorites up with lots of warm, nourishing, oh-so-satisfying comfort food, since that’s what I’ve been craving all week long. I swear it’s like my body knows it’ll be going into full-on hibernation mode come December. If you’ve forgotten from last year, I absolutely hate cold things.
Now go enjoy some delicious food this beautiful fall weekend and see you Monday 🙂
