Friday Favorites: Mother’s Day Brunch

Happy Friday! Or what I really should be saying is Happy {early} Mother’s Day! Can you believe we’re almost halfway through May? This year is flying by, that’s for sure.

For this edition of Friday Favorites, I put together some delicious recipes from the blogging world that are perfect for your Mother’s Day Brunch! Sadly, I won’t be with my mom this year on Mother’s Day, but we got to spend last weekend together and had a lovely brunch together with my Grandma in it’s place. I know she’d be loving most of these recipes, so I’ll definitely keep them in mind for the next time we’re together. Have a beautiful day everyone and get planning the best brunch ever for your mamas 🙂

Hi, I’m Liz and this is my food blog where I share my love of healthy foods and whole ingredients. You will find mostly vegetarian dishes, plenty of sweets, and lots of love from this little kitchen in Durham, North Carolina!

  1. Aww, so glad you got to see your mom and grandma for last weekend for an early Mother’s Day celebration 🙂 Those oatmeal raisin rolls and apple cinnamon scones look incredible- I haven’t made scones in forever, but I’ve been following a blogger from Australia who always has scones and clotted cream, and they LOOK SO GOOD!

    • It was really nice seeing them. And I’m with you on the scones— it’s been so long since I’ve attempted to make them but it definitely needs to happen in the near future!

  2. Brunch is my favorite, especially when my mother is involved <3
I didn't get to cook anything this mother's day as our schedules dictated that we meet in a restaurant for dinner, but my Dad has a birthday coming up and I'm thinking of having everyone over for brunch! I'm sure he'll like these recipes just as much.

    • That’s a good idea! It’s so hard coordinating schedules for holidays, especially with lots of family members. I’m sure they’ll love these for your Dad’s birthday! Let me know what you try if you get the chance 🙂
