Since being back home in Durham, it’s been so fun looking back through my pictures from the first half of our summer living in Washington (and all the delicious things we ate 😉 ). I put together a little recap of my favorite eats and sights from our time in DC for all those travel lovers out there.
If you’ve got plans to visit Washington in the future, the food scene is in it’s prime right now! We only ate at a few of the incredible veggie options they have, so check out my other DC post here and here for more delicious restaurant choices.
Let’s start with some classic DC photos, shall we?

ginger scallion noodles & rice cakes with ginger, chickpeas, and scallions
// brunch at le diplomate //
soy latte with nicoise salads (for both of us 😉 sorry, forgot to photograph)
// ice cream at pop’s old fashioned ice cream //
chocolate peanut butter, duhh… but everything is good here!
// lunch at chaia tacos //

// takeout from rice bar //
