summer in DC // recap

Since being back home in Durham, it’s been so fun looking back through my pictures from the first half of our summer living in Washington (and all the delicious things we ate šŸ˜‰ ). I put together a little recap of my favorite eats and sights from our time in DC for all those travel lovers out there.

If you’ve got plans to visit Washington in the future, the food scene is in it’s prime right now! We only ate at a few of the incredible veggie options they have, so check out my other DC post here for more delicious restaurant choices.

Let’s start with some classic DC photos, shall we?

  1. Your summer in DC looks and sounds like it was so much fun, both last year and this year. I love seeing your snapchat stories of the kids you nanny- they’re adorable. It seems like you did a lot of exciting things this summer, most especially your engagement party- YAY!! You and Nate are the cutest couple, and your new puppy August is the cutest new addition to your family! šŸ™‚
Also, all the food in D.C. = heart eyes! I must go back there- the last (and only) time I went was when I was in 6th grade!

    • Awww thanks Ellie! Yeah, it was certainly an exciting summer. The kiddos were so much fun and it was great kicking off our upcoming wedding with that amazing party šŸ™‚ You’ll definitely have to go back to DC. It’s such a fun city and the food scene is on point!

    • It was such a wonderful summer— and a great way to take a break from teaching šŸ™‚ Hope you’re enjoying your last few weeks of summer!
