Veggie Friendly Easter Round Up

Happy Easter weekend everyone!! What are you plans for the weekend?? Going out of town, visiting family, staying home and relaxing? Whatever your plans may include, I know that delicious, festive food is a MUST. But we’ll get to that in a minute…

Easter weekend is one of my favorite weekends of the year. It’s that time of the year when the trees are just starting to bloom with those gorgeous cherry blossoms, the weather is {usually} perfect enough for short sleeves or light sweaters, and, best of all, I typically find myself surrounded by family or friends. Especially now that we live in a city far away from all our relatives, these moments with family are even more precious, even if just for a few days.

Luckily, being a teacher, my spring break always lands right around Easter weekend, so I’m able to travel to see family most years. Last year, I spent the week in San Francisco visiting my sister, and shortly after I booked my flight, the rest of my siblings (and parents) followed in suit (I guess you could say we have serious travel FOMO). We had the most incredible week, sightseeing in one of my favorite cities in the country, hiking, wine tasting, and just being together. This year, 5 of the 6 of us will be reunited in Florida and I can’t wait to spend the week relaxing by the pool and spending a day or two at Disney with my favorite people.

Anyways, you’re here for the Easter food, right?!? Let get down to business then. I’ve created a round up for you today, prepping you for the full Easter meal, from sides, to veggies, to main dishes, to sweets! Hope you find a little inspiration for your weekend, wherever it may be. Here’s to a weekend of food, family, and fun!
