Oh thank goodness it’s Friday!! How was your week? Mine was pretty darn normal— nothing too out of the ordinary (work, food, sleep, repeat). We have Spring Break coming up in just two painstakingly long weeks and I couldn’t be more excited for a little R&R! I’m actually going back to Florida for a few days (yes, again haha. my family owns a timeshare and had a week we just needed to use… I know, such a pain 😉 ) so it’ll be amazing soaking up some sun and relaxing with my fam.

Any fun plans for the weekend? We don’t have too much going on this weekend but I’m totally ok with that. I kinda love those weekends where we have no plans and we can just take our time getting caught up on life.

  1. this mushroom lentil loaf. it’s a staple in my kitchen, for sure.
  2. this chickpea pasta soup. i fall in love with it again every time i make it.
  3. this easy mediterranean chopped salad. classic greek goodness!
  4. this roasted broccoli quinoa salad (minus the feta). roasted broccoli is always a good idea.
  5. this chickpea, spinach, & sweet potato brown rice bowl. makes for the perfect work lunch


…5 things i’m loving this week…

  1. nutrition stripped’s post on healthy fats and these avocado boats, three ways. avocado boats? i need to eat these daily.
  2. my friend lucia’s instagram account. her photos have been (especially) spot on lately!
  3. HOUSE OF CARDS. are you a fan? have you started the new season yet? already binged the whole thing? we’re doing an episode a night so don’t spoil it pretty please!
  4. balancing poses. i’ve been feeling more and more confident with my warrior three and half moon poses in yoga and it’s exhilarating! that feeling when you’re having a good balance day is priceless.
  5. the weather!! it’s been in the 70s (and even 80s) ALL WEEK LONG and it’s been absolutely magical! maybe that’s why i’m already in spring break mode…


…5 recipes i’m dying to try…

  1. this lentil vegetable chili. one pot of comfort— i’m down!
  2. these crunchy honey peanut butter & dark chocolate bars. i can’t get over her photos!
  3. this vegan garlic bread with kale pesto. i’m drooling.
  4. this tart cherry granola smoothie bowl. i’ve still never tried a smoothie bowl, but this one might change that!
  5. this thai peanut hummus. let the hummus obsession continue!!
