A Vegetarian Thanksgiving Menu


It’s already that time! The time when we finish planning out that infamous meal, create our shopping lists, clean out our fridge, and get into that holiday mindset. And I couldn’t be more excited about it!!

Thanksgiving is probably my second favorite holiday (only second to Christmas, of course) because #1 THE FOOD, duh. And #2 the family time— which in the Martone household, is usually spent in the kitchen while cooking, eating, drinking, did I say eating already??, and just being together.

I’ve shared with you before that I’m one of four children and we all live in entirely different parts of the country, so it’s such a special time when we’re all finally back together, even if only for a few days. I can already paint a picture for you of what our holiday is going to look like: My mom will be slicing homemade Rosemary Olive Oil Bread that’s still piping hot from the bread maker. I’ll be whipping up a new favorite recipe I’ve concocted for my also-vegetarian sister to try. My sisters will be chatting at the kitchen table with a big mugs of steamy tea. My dad and brother will be glued to the football game… all. day. long. Aahhhhh you can’t get much more relaxed than that.


I so curious to hear what your Thanksgiving looks like!! How will you spend your day? Are you serving turkey or going straight vegan/ vegetarian?? We always do a little of both in my house, since most of my family eats meat. We make sure to have LOTS of veggie-friendly side dishes, though, since all of us girls are veggie fanatics!
