It’s Friday! This week went by a little more quickly (since we had Veteran’s Day off), but it still feels SO good that the weekend is so near. I’m looking forward to staying home and relaxing this weekend, especially after the whirlwind trip we had last weekend to Boston to see my girlfriend get married:
Most of the time, I am such a home-body. I adore lazy weekends where I can lounge around the house and take my time getting weekend chores done. I love having lots of time to try out different recipes, and then inevitably spend just as much time cleaning up my disaster of a kitchen afterwards. I would take a quiet night in with Nate any day over going out on the town for the evening. It’s strange, because I’ve been like this ever since I was a child. Once a home-body, always a home-body I guess. Or maybe I’m just a 35-year-old in a 25-year-old’s body 🙂
